A Personal Welcome
Hello, I'm Dr Cheryl Lee (Aeschlimann).
Thank you for visiting my website.
I designed this website myself because I wanted patients to have a genuine glimpse into my practice and the way I care for people. Rather than simply listing treatments, I wanted to share the philosophy that guides every consultation and every decision I make as an eye surgeon.
Whether you're bringing your child for myopia control, considering EVO ICL vision correction, seeking treatment for dry eyes, or exploring cataract surgery, I hope this website helps you feel informed, reassured and confident in your choices.
I also hope that, as you explore these pages, you'll hear my voice and gain a sense of the warm, personalised care that my team and I strive to provide every day.
As both an eye surgeon and a mother, I understand the trust families place in their doctor. The advice I give parents about protecting their children's vision is the same advice I follow with my own family.
The Eye Clinic by Dr Cheryl Lee is conveniently located at Mandarin Gallery on Orchard Road in Singapore, providing comprehensive eye care for children and adults.
For patients with dry eye disease, advanced diagnosis and treatment are available through The Eye Doctor, Dr Cheryl Lee's dedicated dry eye specialty clinic, where the latest technologies are used to diagnose and manage dry eye disease and meibomian gland dysfunction.

Medical Director & Ophthalmic Surgeon
Hello, I am Dr Cheryl Lee Aeschliman. I am back in Singapore after more than 10 years working in Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham & Cambridge in England, Bascom Palmer in Miami, USA and Pitie-Salpetriere in Paris, France. Since returning, it has been an honour to have been inducted to the Straits Times Hall of Fame.
I am a myopia specialist which means I take care of conditions from young to old that revolve around myopia - myopia control in children, getting rid of glasses, cataract and retinal surgeries and dry eye management.
The motto has been from the start to offer patients more in terms of innovation, higher quality treatment options and personal attention. As a result, over the 10 years, The Eyeclinic by Dr Cheryl Lee has differentiated itself by being the only clinic that offers all research proven options for myopia control, curing dry eyes with machines and not depending on drops, performing an award number of EVO Implantable Collamer Lens (beyond Lasik) and introducing premium lenses for getting rid of reading glasses.
I am a mum of a 12 year old boy which explains my passion and conviction for myopia control in children. When I attend to your child, the tricks and tips I share with you, I have tried out on Mark.
Before my days of motherhood, I did study quite a lot and my academic accolades include the Gold Medal and Book Prize in Ophthalmology from the National University of Singapore, the Marie Comer Anglian Prize in Ophthalmology from the University of Cambridge.
I am happy to discuss any eye concerns of yours in English, Mandarin, Teochew, Hokkien, French, Spanish, Russian or Malay.
To reach out to you personally, I have created this website myself. I hope you find informative, fun and useful the videos and stories I share.
