L’opération des deux yeux sous anesthésie locale s’est déroulée rapidement et sans aucune douleur.
La vision de près a été tout de suite précise . je me souviens avoir fait de la couture sans mes lunettes le lendemain de l’opération.
Les améliorations de ma vision ont été constantes au cours de l’année qui a suivi.
Il m’a juste demander un peu de patience pour ma vision nocturne.
Je voudrais aussi vous remercier pour le suivi : les contrôles après l’opération et l’écoute du patient .
Votre chaleur humaine, votre sourire et votre expérience de chirurgienne , c’est cela que je n’oublierai pas !
Je ne regrette pas d’avoir fait le choix de l’opération.

What does it mean?
Analysis of the Excerpt
The Setting: The poem opens with a clinical, sterile experience at an optometrist's office, where an eye drop is described vividly as "an infernal drop" falling "like an oyster."
The Transition: The poet experiences temporary vision impairment from the examination, inducing a moment of introspection.
The Epiphany: Upon recovering his sight, his first act is to gaze at and deeply appreciate the "brownish, spacious eyes" of his partner.
The Conclusion: The poem loops meta-textually back onto itself, noting that the entire purpose of writing the ode was to erase his past ingratitude for the gift of sight
I had worn contacts/glasses for as long as I could remember.
I was basically blind without wearing either, and there was always a worry that I would lose my contacts or they would suddenly become uncomfortable while I was playing tennis. Glasses were always an inconvenience for me since they were so heavy due to my high prescription, and I avoided wearing them as much as I could. I was very fortunate to be able to undergo ICL, and ever since then, I do not have to worry about waking up and trying to look for my contacts in the morning. Thank you Dr. Lee for helping restore my vision!
