Styes and chalazions “I don’t want surgery for my son”
Dry eyes can lead to styes due to the tear film, composed of water, mucin, and oil produced by glands on the eyelid margin. When eyes are dry, these glands produce more oil, which can thicken and block the gland pore, causing swelling like a pimple.
A stye is essentially a GLORIFIED PIMPLE and should be treated like one to unblock it and prevent infection.
Traditional treatments like warm compresses and creams have limited effects. At The Dry Eye Doctor Spa, we use Eyelight with red LED to rapidly reduce inflammation and liquefy thick secretions, unblocking the pores without surgery. This treatment is comfortable and addresses the root cause, affecting all eyelid glands.
When my son had a persistent stye, traditional methods failed. After trying Eyelight, the stye resolved quickly. We've since treated many styes successfully, especially when caught early. Avoid relying solely on creams and compresses if they don't work within a few days.
Very few patients now require surgery for styes. Learn more about Eye-light here.
